About the Artist
A native of Southern California, Pamela Mower- Conner received her BA and MA from California State University, Fullerton. A member of Gallery 825, her artwork was shown in September of 2005 at Bergamot Station and during February and March, 2006 at INSA Art Center, Seoul, Korea and Gallery ANN, Seoul, Korea.
Mower-Conner's primary subject matter is nature and she pays repeated homage to it in the landscapes, plants, animals, humans and other beings populating her work. Currently exploring the theme of cosmic cycles and order, she frequently uses spirals, spherical shapes and a formalizing of natural objects into architectural forms.

About the Artist
Gail Rodgers combines the graphic art of silkscreening with hand painting to create original designs and portraits that have caught the eye of numerous art collectors and A-list celebrities.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Gail Rodgers never questioned what she wanted to be when she grew up. As a child, art was her companion and a safe haven for self expression. Whether in the backseat of a car or on the beach of Cape Cod, a piece of paper and a crayon box were never far from reach. Following high school, Rodgers received a summer scholarship to Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and then went on to attend California Institute of the Arts in Valencia. Rodgers excelled in this environment and the experience made a lasting impression on her views about art. "I learned to value the concept, the idea, more than the execution. A pretty painting is fine, but what about it? Art, like all living things, needs a soul."

About the Artist
Elana Kundell creates imaginary environments in the abstract that are based on emotional rather than physical spaces. Based on memory - where experience is recycled and distorted - the paintings occupy an ambiguous zone between what is seen and what is felt. The process at its best reveals clues about the deep, usually hidden nature of meaning/feeling/being in the world, bringing to light possibilities for transformation.
Working in oil on panel or canvas, Kundell's surfaces are developed intuitively using knives, brushes, fingers, and cloth to form dense, intersecting layers.

About The Loft at Liz's
The Loft at Liz's is a unique gallery space that strives to provide support and exposure for emerging and established artists and artisans from California and beyond. It is our goal to provide a venue that fosters an open dialogue between eclectic and diverse points of view, visions, ideologies and experiences.
The Loft occupies the space above Liz's Antique Hardware and acts as an art gallery, showroom for new and vintage furnishings and location rental. Liz's Antique Hardware, now located in the historic Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, was born in 1979 when Liz happened upon a 4000 square foot warehouse in Chicago filled to the brim with objects collected at garage sales, abandoned buildings and flea markets by a local picker. Among the most interesting objects were the thousands of antique hardware items spilling out of boxes and barrels throughout the warehouse.With her keen eye, Liz purchased the contents and set to work on organizing the haphazard menagerie into a successful wholesale hardware department store. Seven years later the lease was lost and it was time to move on. Liz set her eyes on San Diego and the California dream became a reality. In 1992 Liz moved her business to Los Angeles, where Liz's Antique Hardware has become a staple for the Southern California antique and interior design community.
Like an artist in residence, Liz lived above her store for 12 years. In addition to being a living space, the loft acted as an office and storage for the vast amounts of merchandise purchased for the store. In 2004 Liz bought a home, allowing the loft space to evolve into its current incarnation as a creative and inspiring hotspot. The New York style loft gallery features artists from all over the world who work in a wide array of mediums. The gallery and showroom, like the store, will always be a treasure hunt; a place to find hidden gems, fine art works, jewelry and beautiful design objects.
