"The Link"

"The Link" is the concept that animal abuse, child abuse and domestic violence are cyclical events that will reoccur until someone steps in to break the cycle. When a child is abused, that child will take out their suffering on an animal until they are large enough to become the abuser. That abuse then carries on through families and generations. It has also been seen throughout history that children who kill or torture animals grow up to do the same to larger prey: humans.

What are the facts regarding this cycle? How does it affect you? What can you or your agency do to stop it? Find out the answers to these questions and more with "The Link" presentation.

This presentation is geared toward working professionals in the fields of counseling, law enforcement, teaching, veterinary offices, domestic violence shelters, animal shelters, animal control agencies, etc. This presentation is approximately 1 hour long.
