Dog Training Schedule
FEES (No refunds or switching classes after the first night of your scheduled class):
- Puppy 101: $80.00 for spcaLA adopted dogs; $100.00 for all others. Puppies must have received at least one set of vaccinations. There are a total of six one-hour lessons. This class is for puppies 8 weeks to 4.5 months old.
- Level One*: $80.00 for spcaLA adopted dogs; $100.00 for all others. There are a total of six lessons. This class is for dogs over 4.5 months of age.
- Level Two*: $80.00 for spcaLA adopted dogs; $100.00 for all others. Must have completed Level One or similar. There are a total of six one-hour lessons.
- Agility: $75.00 for all participants. (Visit our agility page for schedule and class details.)
- Come When Called: $45.00 for all dogs. Dogs must be at least four months of age to attend this class. There are a total of four lessons.
- Fun Nose Work: Level 1 $85.00 for all dogs. $95.00 for Level 2advanced classes.
* Dogs must have current rabies, Bordetella and DHPP shots.
Payment must be made at time of registration. (Your spot in the class is not guaranteed until payment is received). Please confirm that the class you are interested in is still open prior to making payment.

This class will cover the basics of teaching your dog to "come when called." Dogs must be at least 4 1/2 months old to participate in this class. Having your dog respond to "come when called" can be a life-saving exercise. This class runs 45 minutes – to

| FUN NOSE WORK - LEVEL ONE |
Pre-Requisite: Open to current student only, and priority to waiting list.
The Level One Fun Nose Work Class is designed for the person who wants to help their dog to explore their environment in a new and exciting way. This class utilizes the dog's most useful sense: its sense of smell. This class is a great way to work on your dog's basic training skills, burn off excess energy and teaches your dog a whole new set of skills. If your dog lacks confidence or focus, this is definitely the class for you. This class consists of Six (6) one hour and 15 minute lessons . $85.00

Pre-Requisite: Completion of Level One Class and instructor approval.
Level Two Fun Nose Work is for dogs that have completed the Level One Fun Nose work class and have met minimum proficiency in Level One. Dogs in the Level 2 class will be introduced to our target odors and will continue to build on the skills learned in the Level One Fun Nose Work Class. Six (6) one and half hour sessions. $95.00 |

Pre-Requisite: Both the Level One and Level Two Classes and Instructor Approval.
Advanced scent work is designed to build on your dog's understanding of the target odors and the concepts of scent work. The advanced class also expands on the handler's skill level in accurately reading their dog's body language and communication. The teams will learn to navigate more intricate and challenging training scenarios. Class is six (6) one and half hour sessions. $95.00 |
